In Iran, industrial bread (bulk bread) made its way to people's tables in the early 1970s. At that time, only a handful of production units were established in Tehran using foreign machinery. However, these types of bread did not receive much public acceptance, and only a small number of people, along with foreign residents in the country, consumed them.At that time, the available industrial bread in Iran was "Bulk Bread" (white bread), traditionally produced on wooden boards using a Barbari oven. With the introduction of fancy (industrial) bread to the market through semi-industrial methods, it gradually gained popularity over 15 years. Additionally, with the onset of the Iran-Iraq war, the consumption of fancy bread increased significantly and secured a special place in the market.
